What to do with non-sandable floors

Different kinds of wood are being used for different kinds of floor. It is known that to refinish the floor, sanding is very important but there are a few types of wood, which cannot be sanded such as ork, bamboo, some engineered floors and the increasingly popular hand-scraped or distressed floors. Some people who refinish the floor by themselves not like to do the sanding because it takes too much energy and can be harmful for hands. It also takes too much time. There are many ways to refinish the floor without sanding.

First of all, the floor will need a thorough cleaning. For that, the room will need to be emptied and the rugs and furniture will have to be removed from the room. You can use a vacuum for clean the floor. Make sure that the cleaning is as through as possible because little dust can cause problem during the process of floor refinish. After using vacuum, mop the floor with half a cup of ammonia added in one gallon of water, and let the floor get dry properly.

After that the floor will require buffing, for that there are floor buffers available in the market. If you cannot purchase this machine, you can rent it tool. Start from the middle of the room and go towards edges. Give the buffing in circular pattern. Before going to the next step, you will have to safe yourself so wear gloves and cover ons. The next step will be the use of polyurethane. It is not dangerous but safety is important. Keep the windows open and wear a mask if possible.

Pore some amount of the product in one corner of the polyurethane. You will have to spread it, for that you can use foam applicator or wool cloth. After spreading it completely on the floor, let it dry. This process of refinishing is best for Non-Sandable Floor Renewal.
